When you install programs, they create their shortcuts on the desktop. Unfortunately, a shortcut arrow appears in the lower left half of the icon. If this bothers you, I have the solution here:

2. Now navigate by double-clicking one after the other on HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\LNKFILE and you will see the value IsShortCut. Select it and press Remove to delete it.
Close Regedit and restart your PC. When Windows has loaded, the linking arrows have disappeared.
