Windows 98 – Blitschnelles Löschen ohne Papierkorb

If you delete files in the conventional way, they first go to the recycle bin, from where they can only be deleted properly. However, this deletion process can easily take several minutes and is unnecessary if you know that you no longer need the files.

Just hold them while you do something with ENTF delete the button SHIFT pressed. It's that simple! To deactivate the recycle bin completely, proceed as follows:

1. Right-click on the recycle bin and select from the context menu Properties.

                  

2. Now select the option Delete files immediately (do not move to the recycle bin) and confirm them with Ok.
