Der blitzschnelle Aufbau von Internetseiten ermöglicht das rapide Auffinden von Informationen. Falls Sie einen DSL Anschluss mit Modem haben können Sie diesen ganz leich unter Windows 2000 einrichten.
Robert Schlabbach has written special drivers for this purpose, which usually work faster and without problems than the device drivers from Telekom or other DSL providers. Unfortunately, the installation is somewhat more complicated than is the case with the simple installation programs, e.g. for T-DSL. We will guide you step by step through the simple installation process:
1. Click hereto download the RasPPPoE drivers from Robert Schlabbach's website. These are usually in compressed form, which is why I recommend WinAce, which easily extracts all types of compressed files. Click here to find out how to access WinAce.
2. Go to the Control Panel and double-click on the icon Network and dial-up connection.
3. Now click on LAN connection with the right mouse button and select Properties. Click now on Install and then one after the other on Protocol > Add.
4. Choose now Data carrier as soon as the list appears and navigate via the button Browse to your RasPPPoE drivers, which you have unpacked as described above. As soon as these have been found and you double-click on them, a new window appears in which you must confirm that the protocol is the correct one.
5. Several driver confirmation windows will now appear, all of which you can close with Yes to be installed. After you have restarted, your DSL drivers are installed and you can continue with the step Connect to the Internet at last to dedicate.
