If you need to know your own IP and some additional information for the Internet or your network, a simple DOS command is sufficient.
1. Click one after the other on Start > Execute and type in the command line cmd and confirm with ENTER. The good old DOS interface appears.

2. Now write the command ipconfig /all and press Enter. Detailed information about the connection will now appear.
