Windows 2000 – Jegliches Mittel von Windows 2000 zum Spionieren abschalten

Nicht nur das neue Windows XP ist bekannt für seine heimliche Spionage am User, nein, auch Windows 2000 besitzt eine Datei, welche Systeminformationen sammelt und die in einigen Fällen an Microsoft schickt. Ob an diesem Gerücht etwas dran ist kann bisher niemand bestätigen – es ist aber immer empfehlenswert diese Datei komplett vom System auszubinden.

1. In the Start menu, click on Execute and enter in the command line REGSVR32 /U C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\regwizc.dll in.

2. As soon as you click on OK a message appears confirming that the spying file has been removed from the system and is inactive.
