Restart Windows Explorer with a little trick

Wenn die Taskleiste hängt, Fenster nicht reagieren oder ein Programm einfach „festgefroren“ ist, hilft meist nur ein Neustart oder aber das Neuladen der Explorer.exe. Diese Datei ist für die Taskleiste, das Startmenü, den Desktop und geöffneten Explorerfenster verantwortlich. Mit einem kleinen Trick können Sie die explorer.exe ganz schnell neu starten:

1. Halten Sie die Tasten „CTRL„+“SHIFT“ gleichzeitig gedrückt!

2. Now click with the left mouse button on the Start button and then with the right mouse button on a free area, such as the black frame of the Start menu:

Wählen Sie jetzt „Exit Explorer„, um die Windows-Oberfläche neu zu starten!

This trick will certainly help you avoid the odd restart!
