run regedit thumb1

Here we have presented you with a tip that will help you to open a command prompt with a path. We present you with help here in case the trick does not work everywhere.

[By Raimund Machacek]

To do this, press „Windowstaste + R“ and in the window that appears, tap „regedit“ in.

run_regedit

The Windows registry editor will now open.

Now click through to „HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT->Folder->Shell“. There, right-click on „shell“ the key „Kommandozeile hier öffnen“. Repeat this step with the newly created key and create the key „Command“. Now double-click in the right-hand section on „(Standard)“ and simply enter „cmd.exe /k pushd %L“ in.

regedit_open_kom_here

After a restart, you should now be able to open the command prompt with path everywhere.
