Increased performance with SP1 for Windows Vista

Microsoft expert Mary Jo Foley has come across new information regarding the performance increase through Service Pack 1. According to this, the following improvements should occur:

Copying processes between Windows Vista (SP1) and other Windows operating systems should be up to 45 percent faster.

The time of a copy operation between two folders / partitions has decreased by 1/4.

The copying process between a remote PC and a client now only takes half as long.
