Find out the serial number (product key) for Windows XP/Vista/7 and Office 2003/2007/2010.

Blog 176

"I want to reinstall Windows: How do I find my serial number for XP/Vista/7 and Office 2003/2007/2010?"

When reinstalling or moving, there is hardly anything more annoying than searching for serial numbers. Windows-Tweaks shows you how to display and securely store Windows and Office product keys in no time at all. This is how it works:

1. Click on the Link here to download the WinKeyFinder 1.74 (Beta) auf Ihre Festplatte zu überspielen.

Do you see this message for Office 2010? Then you have two options: You wait until this problem is fixed in WinKeyFinder has been solved or you use the - unfortunately somewhat more complex - LicenseCrawler 1.2. If you have decided to use LicenseCrawler, proceed as follows:

So:

2. the Office 2010 serial number is then displayed in the following section:

Looking forward to your feedback!

  1. Hello,

I recently tested a similar tool. It's called Recover Keys. It finds over 3000 program product keys/serial numbers (including all Windows versions) and can also search entire networks. So a little more comprehensive.
I find the tools very helpful. Not only can you find out a serial number, you can also make a backup of all existing serial numbers (which the program also knows). That can save your butt 😉

    Best regards
    Gordon

  2. Hello Gordon,

That sounds very interesting. Now the question of all questions: What is the name of the program and where can our readers get it?

    Best regards,
    Sandro
