Windows 2000 – Die Überschrift in der Internet Explorer Titelleiste ändern

If you have a browser window open, the name of the website you are on is written at the top of the title bar. There is also a way to add your own name or that of your company after this title. Here's how to do this:

1. Click one after the other on Start > Execute and type it into the command line regedit on. The Registration editor.

2. Double-click to go through the following keys one after the other: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main. Right-click in the right-hand pane and select New > Character string. Now call them Window Title (consider spaces between the words).

3. Tragen sie in diese Zeile jetzt z.B. ihren Namen ein. Nachdem sie mit „OK“ bestätigt haben, wird ihnen in der Titelleiste ab sofort was immer sie da eingetragen haben angezeigt.
